Overview

An altar summons a boss when you are ready to fight. In farm zones, choose an altar for the materials you need. Each field raid has its own altar at its spawn location. Personal rewards require enough damage or healing and staying near the boss. Summoning or landing the last hit does not replace these conditions.

Where to find

Open farm zones through Alt+B, Teleport, "Farm zones". Season levels and gear grades: 83 Lv. opens Dynasty gear, 86 Lv. (Moirai), 88 Lv. (Vesper) and 90 Lv. (Legendary).

Farm-zone altars stand on flat open ground with no monster packs within 800.

How it works

Talk to the altar and choose a mode and an available difficulty. Solo includes only you, even if you belong to a party. Party mode requires 2-5 nearby participants. A group altar requires a party.

Difficulties 1-4 correspond to Dynasty, Moirai, Vesper and Legendary grades. A farm-zone altar keeps the strength of its opening season level, and available difficulty cannot exceed that strength. Access to altars of previous season levels depends on your progress and is open to any of your characters.

Field raids offer ordinary difficulty 0 and available difficulties 1-4. From difficulty 1, strength follows the most advanced summoning participant's progress and cannot exceed the server's unlocked grade. A character too advanced for that boss receives no personal reward.

For the first 10 minutes the boss belongs to the summoning participants. It then opens to other players, with earlier damage and healing still counted. If all participants die, log out or move far away, it opens earlier: after 60 seconds.

Cost and conditions

Attempts are disabled on Eternal, so summoning spends none. The summoner must be alive, in the ordinary world and outside sieges, Olympiad and PvP events. Participants gather within 1500 of the altar.

While the boss is alive, another summon at that altar is blocked. A farm-zone altar reopens 60 minutes after victory or the fight time limit. After victory, a field altar follows its raid boss's respawn. A boss without a respawn stays unavailable until restart.

If a field raid leaves after inactivity, the altar immediately becomes available to others, while the previous participants must wait 60 minutes to summon that same raid again. Successfully summoning another field raid releases your previous unfinished summon without a reward.

Magic Tablet: base solo reward from a farm-zone altar when difficulty matches the summon strength. Rebirth requirements apply to the field raid summoner. Party helpers do not need these counts.

Rewards

Farm-zone altar rewards include Ancient Adena, Essence, Craft Points, materials for the chosen altar and, at the appropriate difficulty, coupons and Magic Tablet. The altar window shows the list and chances. These rewards have no daily or weekly drop limits.

Party mode increases item quantities by 50%, rounded up. An item normally awarded as a single piece instead has a 50% chance to give a second piece. Each qualifying participant also has a 25% chance to receive one random extra item: Boss Doll Box or a Blessed Scroll for weapon or armor enchant of the appropriate grade.

The personal reward minimum uses your damage plus healing of other participants over the entire fight. You must be in the same world location and near the boss at defeat, then remain nearby until payout. Only one character per account and per PC receives a reward.

A field raid's ordinary drop follows normal raid loot rules. From difficulty 1, there is a separate personal reward for participants who meet the fight conditions and whose progress is eligible.

Questions

I summoned the boss and teleported away. Will I get a reward?

No. If you were away at defeat or left before payout, there is no personal reward. Returning after the defeat is not enough either.

I died near the boss. Do I lose my reward?

Death alone does not remove your reward. You still need enough damage or healing and must remain nearby. Teleporting to town before payout removes your personal reward.

Do auto farm and offline farm count?

Yes. The same reward rules apply: enough damage or healing and staying near the boss. You do not need to press buttons manually.

The boss disappeared at the time limit. Where is my reward?

There is no reward without victory. After the maximum fight duration, a field altar closes until respawn, just as after a raid kill.
