- Skills are not tied to a class: learn the skills of any class and use them together. This is why by the end of the season attack speed is about 10,000 and casting speed about 11,000-12,000.
- Professions at levels 20, 40 and 76: at the Class Master (NPC Buzz the Cat) or in Alt+B, the "Profession" section. Prices and rewards are in the article "How to start playing".
- Skills are learned in the skill window (Alt+K) from anywhere.
- Passives of one stat work with diminishing strength: the strongest at 100%, the second at 50%, the third at 25%.
- Buffs are outside the passive rule. Skills can be enchanted in three kinds: power, chance, speed.

Where to learn skills
- 1
Open the skill window
Press Alt+K. You can learn from anywhere, not only in a peace zone.
- 2
Pick a skill
The window has the skills of every class. Each skill level has its own minimum character level and its own price.
- 3
Pay and learn
The price is SP, Adena and Magic Tablet, and some skills from level 76 also need a Mastery Seal. The window shows the exact price.
Magic Tablet
Magic Tablet is given for every new level up to 75, once per character for good: after a rebirth the same levels are not paid again. You also get Magic Tablet for rebirths, and it drops in farm zones.
| New character level | Magic Tablet for each level |
|---|---|
| 5 | |
| 8 | |
| 10 | |
| 15 |
While you have no third profession and your level is 75 or lower, skills up to level 75 cost four times less Magic Tablet. SP and Adena do not change.
Passives
You can learn and keep any passives. For each stat (P. Atk., M. Atk., crits, attack speed, defense and so on) passives are sorted by strength, and each next one works weaker:
| Passive by strength | Works at |
|---|---|
| 100% | |
| 50% | |
| 25% | |
| each half as strong as the previous |
- A passive with a weapon or armor condition counts only while the condition is met by what you wear: change your weapon and the order is recalculated.
- Not every passive is in the rule: skills of items, the clan and the hero are not touched.
Buffs and skill enchanting
- Buffs are outside the passive rule. The main buffs (Might, Shield, Wind Walk, Haste, Acumen and others) last 6 hours, and you can hold up to 100 buffs at a time.
- Skills can be enchanted in three kinds: power, chance, speed. Not every skill has an enchant, the skill window (Alt+K) shows the price and the conditions.
Fighter and mage damage
- In PvE a staff mage hits a single target 10% harder than a fighter. A mage with a one-handed weapon and a shield is on par with fighters. Daggers and dual swords hit bosses and monsters 5% harder than a staff mage.
- Fighter damage to monsters grew by about 58% with Dynasty weapons and 28% with Moirai weapons. With Vesper weapons it is 2% lower, with Legendary and Epic weapons 9% lower.
- Dynasty to Legendary blunts and two-handed blunts work like swords and two-handed swords: their P.Atk is lower, damage to monsters and players is the same as a sword of the same level.
- Mage presets carry the enchant a player usually reaches: Aura Flare, Blazing Circle and Prominence +3, +6, +8 and +10 by the end of Dynasty, Moirai, Vesper and Legendary. Death Spike, Hydro Blast and Hurricane are unenchanted in the presets.
Fights with players
- In PvP gear decides: a better weapon, enchanting and buffs always help. A weaker or older weapon, or no weapon, gives no extra toughness and does not make your hits stronger.
- A weaker player gets no damage break against a stronger one: a well geared player quickly beats one who fell behind, but nobody dies from a single hit.
- Healing yourself in a fight with a player is weaker: Dynasty 23% instead of 32%, Moirai 17% instead of 23%, Vesper 11% instead of 13%, Legendary unchanged at 8%. When your armor does not match your weapon, it is halved again.
